Rudder Angle Indicator Test And Repair Method.

The AC rudder Angle indicator is composed of two self-adjusting Angle units. The rudder Angle generator is installed between the steering gear and is mechanically connected with the rudder rod. The rudder Angle receiver is installed on the bridge, and the receiver motor has a pointer.
If the rudder Angle indicator is deviated, it needs to be adjusted again. We have introduced the adjustment method in the previous article, so we will not elaborate on it here. Today we mainly analyze the maintenance methods of rudder Angle indicator problems.
1, rudder Angle indicator does not rotate: check the power supply and insurance.
2. Pulsation of rudder Angle indicator during rotation: Check whether the gap of rudder Angle transmitter gear is too large, and whether the connection line of transceiver has bad contact phenomenon (special attention should be paid to the connection line of the transmitter motor, because the vibration between the steering gear is relatively large, it is easy to break the line and cause bad contact phenomenon).
3. The rudder Angle indicator does not rotate at a certain Angle: this is caused by the stator winding break of the typical rudder Angle indicator. It is necessary to check the wiring part of the transceiver and the safety.
