Repeater Compass is a professional measurement tool for measuring azimuth and inclination, which plays an important role in many fields.

Precautions


Before use
Stay away from interference sources: The reconnaissance compass relies on the geomagnetic field to work. Before use, it should be kept away from high-voltage lines, metal objects, magnetic devices (such as mobile phones, magnets), etc. to prevent magnetic field interference from causing inaccurate measurement data.


Check the equipment: Carefully check whether the compass pointer rotates flexibly, whether the dial is clear and complete, and whether the shell is damaged to ensure that the compass is in normal working condition.


In use
Keep it level: Be sure to place the compass horizontally when measuring, otherwise the measured azimuth and inclination angle will deviate. You can use the level bubble on the compass to determine whether it is level, and adjust it to the center of the bubble before reading.


Standard operation: Use it according to the correct operating procedures. Keep the compass stable when holding it to avoid shaking; when reading, the line of sight should be perpendicular to the dial to ensure accurate readings.


Multiple measurements: To ensure the accuracy of the measurement results, multiple measurements can be made at the same location, and the average value can be taken as the final result to reduce the impact of accidental errors.


After use
Cleaning and storage: After use, wipe the compass with a clean and soft cloth to remove dust and stains on the surface. Store it in a dry, cool place without interference from magnetic materials to prevent the compass from getting damp or being magnetized.


Regular calibration: Regularly calibrate the re-measured compass and compare it with a reference object with a known accurate position. If deviation is found, calibrate it in time to ensure its long-term measurement accuracy.
