Precautions For Debugging The Rudder Angle Indicator System.

Jul 24, 2022|

The following aspects should be paid attention to when debugging the rudder angle indicator system:

    1. The cab and its 4 rudder angle meters have a dimming function, of which the two-wing rudder angle meters have their own dimmers, and the 2 rudder angle meters in the cab are connected according to the partial pressure connection method.

    2. Before power-on debugging, remove the terminals of all rudder angle meters, then power on and measure to confirm the DC24V power line and the rudder angle signal line, connect the DV24V power line, and keep the rudder angle signal line suspended temporarily.

    3. Use the signal transmitter to check the 6 rudder angle meters.

    4. The rudder angle transmitter and signal amplifier have high precision and rarely fail, and can directly conduct system joint debugging. The whole system is powered on, the rudder angle of the steering gear is placed at the zero position, the top cover of the rudder angle transmitter is opened, the 3 screws that fix the rotating shaft are loosened (do not need to be removed), and the rotating shaft is adjusted until the rudder angle meter indicates 0°.

    5. Turn the rudder to 35° on the port side, and observe that the six rudder angle gauges should indicate 35° on the port side. If there are rudder gauges indicating 35° to starboard, then reverse the signal lines of these rudder gauges to indicate 35° to port.

    6. Turn the rudder to 35° on the port side and 35° on the starboard side, and observe the indications of the 6 rudder angle gauges. If the average degree is too large A, turn the rudder angle to the zero position, adjust the range fine-tuning knob of the rudder angle transmitter, adjust the rudder angle meter to indicate 9A/7 on the port side, and then adjust the zero adjustment knob of the rudder angle transmitter. Make the rudder angle indicator at the zero position. If the average degree is too small A, turn the rudder angle to zero, adjust the range fine-tuning knob of the rudder angle transmitter, adjust the rudder angle meter to indicate 9A/7 on the starboard side, and then adjust the zero adjustment knob of the rudder angle transmitter. Make the rudder angle indicator at the zero position. Then turn the rudder again to 35° on the port side and 35° on the starboard side, observe the indications of the 6 rudder angle gauges, and repeat the above steps to adjust if there is a large deviation.
